Running a short build from cfg stage
On the Tools menu, click Short Build from CFG Stage
Since it is not recommended that you use this tool as a replacement for a full build, a warning message will appear:
Clicking Yes, Continue will run the short build from CFG stage (Hyperlink).
- It will not re-process files from which databases and graphics can be extracted, including Composer database files, so changes to those files will not be picked up.
- Basic checks and iterations usually performed in a build will not be included.
A short build from cfg stage can be useful
- to test a newer version of Hyperlink, for example to see if it can process files previously excluded from a build
- or if you have manually edited your .CFG file and want to check the results.
It is not otherwise recommended as a replacement for full builds, since a short build from cfg cannot identify all the changes in your system.
