Improving data reliability

Improving data reliability

For most CIUs, CIUMon uses keys 1–32 to request data. To reduce errors, it can be set to use only key 0 instead. However, in this mode CIUMon must wait for each value to be fetched before requesting the next value. This makes live data considerably slower.

Some CIUs only support key 0. This option is not available for these CIUs. Instead, key 0 will be used automatically.

In rare cases, you may also need to use an older data request style in order to reliably get data for all blocks. If you find that you need to use this option, please Contact GMCL to let us know.

Making CIUMon use only key 0

  1. On the Options menu, click CIUMon Settings.
  2. Click the Configuration tab.
  3. Select the Always use key 0 radio button.
