Working with the DBDOC security dongle
You will need a DBDOC USB Dongle in order to build your system (or, if this is not possible, a software-only license can be provided at additional cost).
- Windows automatically installs the necessary drivers.
- BuildPlus will tell you whether or not the dongle is present on the port.
Note: The dongle is only required for builds. If your build machine does not have a USB port available to it (for example if it is a virtual machine whose setup precludes this), see our documentation on USB over networks, or contact GMCL for a software-based license.
