There are two methods to prevent a CIUMon service from starting when you reboot the computer. The preferred method is to use Modify Service Properties from within CIUMon. If this doesn't work, then use Windows services manager.

Preventing a CIUMon service from starting on reboot using Modify Service Properties

1. Start CIUMon.
2. On the Options menu, click Services.
3. In the Current CIUMon Services list, click the service you wish to modify.
4. In the Start-up Type list, click Manual.
5. Click Apply Changes.
6. Click OK.

Preventing a CIUMon service from starting on reboot using Windows services manager

1. Go into the Windows Control Panel, and, under Administrative Tools, start the Services control.
2. A list of services will appear in the right-hand pane. Right-click the service you wish to modify, then click Properties.
3. In the Startup type list, click Manual.
4. Click OK.
