There are two types of settings that affect a CIUMon service: the settings in the configuration it is using, and the settings for the service itself.

Making changes to the configuration

• To change how your configuration logs CIUMon messages, click on a service, then click Modify Configuration Options.
• To make other changes, launch the configuration in manual mode.
• Use the box at the bottom of the CIUMonController window to modify global CIUMon options including:
  • Log folder
  • The lists of blocked users and IP addresses and user weights

Making changes to the service

• To set up a new service, click Add a Service.
• To make changes to an existing service, click the service you want to change and then click Modify Service.
• To remove a service, click the service you want to change and then click Delete Service.
