On the Highlight Menu, click Search Hits.

When this is checked, search hits are highlighted. Note that you can go to the Previous Search Hit or Next Search Hit by pressing the buttons in the toolbar. These will bring up the Previous/Next document containing the searched topic. Think of it as navigating the list of documents in the Search results dialog.

You can also navigate searched topic hits within a document with Previous highlight in topic and Next highlight in topic.
