Getting live data directly from a business LAN
In some setups, it may be acceptable to run CIUMon on a server on your business LAN and connect it to a read-only RoviSys Turbo port on the DCS LAN through a serial line. RoviSys Turbo connects to the CIU and sends data back to the CIUMon on the business LAN. Because this setup uses a RoviSys Turbo read-only port, no changes to the DCS LAN or the plant can be made from the business LAN.
