Entering log captions
Use log captions to have CIUMon place a comment in the log file. By placing notes about the operational situation in the log file, you will be able to see what parts of the log file correspond to what operations. This makes analyzing log files much easier.
Example log captions:
- "Cad sheet"
- "Graphic"
- "Trying to fetch specs of FC nnn block"
To enter a log caption:
- On the File menu, click Enter Log Caption. The Insert Log Caption window will open.
- Type your caption in the Log Caption box. Click OK.
Note: Log captions are limited to 1024 characters in length. Longer captions will be truncated.
