Module: List of Unused Tags

An index of the unused tags in a module can be found in the Module Block Map index accessible via the Block Map link in each Module Index. In any Module Index, click on the Block Map link, then on List of Unused Tags to bring up this index in the content pane.

The List of Unused Tags is a hyperlinked index of tags that are defined in the database, but do not seem to have any reason to be defined there. These tags ae candidates for removal from the database. Tags in this list are not used on graphics (one reason to be in the database), and are also not unconfigured tags and are also not unused alarm tags.

• Unconfigured tags are those with with no source in the configuration that DBDOC has access to. This often means that they are defined in another unit (where the source is located), and are not a cause for concern.
• Unused alarm tags are tags that are probably valid alarm tags despite not being used on graphics. For more information see Module:List of Unused Alarm Tags.
