DBDOC Version 7.10 Release Notes - Detail
Release Date: October 26, 2001

Overview of Major Features of Version 7.10
1. Multiple documents of the same name in different folders are now supported.
2. A new graphics cross-reference including symbols / sub-models has been created.
3. Real-time monitoring errors are significantly reduced.

General:
1. Support has been added in various programs (Hyperlink, BuildPlus and Hyperview) in order to build in graphics symbols and Conductor NT sub models as separate chapters in the final M14 file. You will now be able to cross-reference which symbols are located on each graphic and which graphics contain a specific symbol. The cross- reference will also allow you to see which graphics are linked to which graphic.
2. Changes have been implemented in both BuildPlus and Hyperlink for loop renumbering to allow for no Bailey translation of the loop numbers. There is a checkbox in the loop renumbering dialog box in BuildPlus - "Do not translate to Bailey numbering" - which will allow you to keep the loop number as entered, e.g. loop 11 will remain loop 11 rather than getting translated to loop B.

Hyperlink:
1. Improved AutoCAD scaling translates into better and more drawings showing up in the final M14.
2. Documents are resolved on a chapter-by-chapter basis. Multiple copies are permissible as long as they occur in separate chapters. The user may select the appropriate document from the Resolution Page that appears when there are multiple documents with the same name.
3. Support has been improved for PI databases, both versions 2 and 3.

BuildPlus:
1. Users can now enter a description into the Database-Graphics Association dialog box for user defined associations.
2. Batch file processing has been changed so that the loop, PCU and module is derived from the filename. This will be overwritten if a valid loop, PCU and module is found in the folder name (this can be located at the beginning or the end of the folder name).
3. The way in which BuildPlus determines whether or not DBEBP.VBS needs to be rerun on Composer projects has changed. This should result in shorter rebuild times if no major changes have been detected.
4. The error zip tool is now enabled after the MediaView compile so that the user may zip up his files without having to close Hyperview first.

CIUMON:
1. Improved error handling has been implemented. More command retries have been added for certain errors. The user is also able to tune the number of retries that CIUMON will attempt with the option shown in the Configuration dialog box.
2. A fix has been added which should solve the problem of an intermittent crash when logging was turned on.
3. ERROR UDP packets are not sent on retries, only when the retry count has been exceeded and a true failure has occurred. This should suppress the needless appearance of the red error boxes in Hyperview.
4. CIUMON will now block any requests to SPM02 type CIU's that do not match the loop and PCU that the particular SPM02 is connected to. An appropriate message will be sent back to Hyperview or CIULink which should inform them that the request cannot be sent to the appropriate PCU (Hyperview will display the message "INFO" in a blue box and CIULink will show "INFO Cannot reach PCU" in Debug view and "INVALID_CIU_LP/PCU" in Export view).

Hyperview:
1. The live loop setup loop number matches the sheet number. For example, loop "C" on the sheet is "C" in the loop setup, not "12".
2. The new cross-reference button "X" has been implemented. Please see #1 under the "General" heading for more details.
3. Search capabilities with wildcards in drawings have been improved.

Wizard:
1. Local directory names are expanded to include as many parent directory levels as needed to create unique names.
