Basic DBDOC Hyperview Browser Training
|
|
This on-site, half-day course acquaints people with the functions of
DBDOC's Hyperview browser, and is
suitable for novice as well as more experienced users.
People getting maximum benefit are those who use DBDOC to get answers
about their Bailey system, but are not necessarily
responsible for its long term maintenance and support.
The half day training typically consists of two sessions:
- Session A - Beginner instructions, setup, basic searches and
troubleshooting
- Session B - New features (Depending on the time available and interest
level of the group, some advanced features will be
illustrated, and suggestions for further work made.)
In advance of the course, a build of the most current release and
preparation of course materials specific to your site will be prepared,
ready for duplication for use during the session(s).
The training cost is per day,
for up to 8 attendees each half-day period (there is
nominal cost for additional people). A maximum of 12 attendees has
been found most effective for DBDOC instruction. We recommend offering either:
- Two half-day Hyperview training sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
- One half-day Hyperview training session and a half-day consultation.
Due to the hands-on nature of the instruction,
we recommend having one computer
per 1 or 2 people at the session. Other network and hardware requirements
can be worked out with our staff.
